The Dots Game is played on a grid of dots aligned to the width and height of a sheet of paper. The players take turns connecting adjacent dots with lines in a horizontal or vertical orientation. When a line encloses a box in the smallest possible way the player writes his or her initial in the cell and takes another turn. This can lead to a player capturing a series of “cells”. When all dots are completely connected the player with the most initialed cells wins.
